Talhon was founded in 2013 by Jai and Sukhwinder after seeing cross-border freight handled as just another shipment. Cross border freight requires specialized knowledge, yet it was often assigned to teams without the experience to navigate customs and bond requirement, resulting in border delays, compliance issues, and unnecessary costs.
They built Talhon on a simple belief: if border & bonded-freight is complex enough that many transportation providers avoid it, then the businesses that rely on it deserve a company dedicated exclusively to doing it right. That commitment to specialization has shaped every decision we've made since, allowing us to deliver dependable, compliant cross-border transportation with confidence.
